Description

With VELUX Touch, you only need to reach for the remote to take control of your indoor comfort. VELUX Touch makes it easy to feel perfectly at home by ensuring every solar and electric roof window, blind and shutter is always within easy reach. Open your shutters in the morning to wake with the sun, open a roof window when the home office needs a breath of fresh air or draw the shades for family movie night - all with a single remote. Goods that are either damaged or missing in transit must be marked on the delivery driver's paperwork prior to signing for the goods delivered, and reported to Roof Giant within (7) working days of the actual delivery date. Easy installation: VELUX ACTIVE indoor climate control can be installed without any professional help. The new Velux Active system uses a series of clever built-in algorithms to adjust your windows automatically to ensure you enjoy a healthier, fresher indoor environment. These algorithms can be easily overriden to allow you to customise the settings according to your own needs. Setup using VELUX app goes simlarly as with Connectivity Kit (but only VELUX products supported, no Somfy)

Stay in control: Use the VELUX ACTIVE app to operate your VELUX INTEGRA ® electric roof windows, blinds and shutters from anywhere using your smartphone. The power supply is not provided and I used a 24V 6A PSU. Apparently only 1A is needed per shutter motor so a 3A PSU should be more than enough to power 2 motors and the electronics. PriceWorks with Velux SML roller blinds. Conversion from SSL blinds possible, see below. Official Velux hardware With the 15 minute ventilation timer, you can air your room and not worry about closing the window afterwards - VELUX Touch will do it for you.

Apparently, once a Velux SML has been used with a KUX unit it changes mode of operation and cannot be used with the following method. By the way, it seems that setup works only if you have an existing, configured remote control… means you still need one in parallel.

This piece of hardware, the Sonoff 4CH Pro is ideal for this: It provides 4 relays, can be powered with 24V and has Wifi thanks to the ESP8266. It also has holes to solder a header to re-flash the chip and use a firmware more compatible with Home assistant, but more on that later.

a Velux KUX 110 per window (80€). They include a power supply and a radio remote. This is the module that powers and control the motor. Set up with Somfy Tahoma app went more or less smoothly (using existing remote controls), I can operate windows and blinds via the app Here is the documentation for putting the 4CH Pro in flashing mode: Tasmota documentation. It contains informations about the three different revisions of the hardware. The KLF 200 is a completely different product to the KIG 300. The KLF is an interface until which links our windows to a 3rd party system. The KIG 300 is VELUX App control which allows you to open and close the windows from your phone. You will have the function with this to set timers and p the windows into groups. Make sure that your smartphone is properly connected to a functional Wi-Fi network before beginning the installation.I sold the Connectivity Kit and and bought the VELUX KIG 300 (which seems to be designed by NETATMO). Here the result: It is the consumers responsibility to ensure that the items submitted for return are as described to Roofgiant during all correspondence regarding the return. Any additional costs associated with failure to meet this responsibility may be passed on to the consumer.Roofgiant are not responsible for any extra or incorrect items returned. The exterior is unmodified so I've also sealed the AC inputs to make sure nothing gets plugged in there by mistake. As far as I know there is no specific integration like with Overkiz (neither local nor cloud), thus I did not test this. VELUX ACTIVE and VELUX App Control will continue to operate during internet outages. The app regulates the indoor climate and sunscreening according to the latest set point applied before the outage (away mode, manual set point, etc.). After two days, it is paused as no weather data has been updated. Only the operation of sunscreening in the morning and the evening is ongoing.

Apologies for the delay, I have been juggling work, kids and builders. I asked Velux for some clarification and was sent the following response, I am not 100% convinced by the KIG300 answer but I shall wait until my build is completed before fiddling with automating the windows: Control all your electric and solar powered VELUX products right from your phone. Open and close your roof windows, blinds, and shutters with a single swipe or group your electric or solar VELUX products to control them in groups. Share the VELUX App with your whole household to control all your windows when you're at home or on the go. Try closing down the app and re-open it to see if you have an unfinished installation. If so, finish the installation.

Transport companies acting on behalf of VELUX will only collect the specific items described on the collection note. No other items will be accepted. VELUX Touch gives you an all-in-one control for all your solar and electric windows, blinds and shutters. It's intuitive design makes it easy for anyone to use it.
