Right from the start I get a young, fresh rose, not the soapy kind, it is a very musky rose, a lusty tangy, young rose.

Usually I am way more tactful with reviews because everyone is different, but there are so many perfumes out there with a similar top note composition that don't dry down to a hot mess. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data.If anyone else notices anything disconcertingly similar in the notes, I'd love to hear about it, because I’d feel like a bit of a nut posting that scent memory of my own, were it not for another Fragrantican's mention Escada perfumes reminding her unhappily – I don’t quote accurately here – of a few superficial people from her youth, who used everything Escada, but way too liberally. I think this perfume very work-appropriate too, because it's nice and pleasant without screaming that I'm wearing a perfume. An elegant combination of rose petals with a touch of juicy pear and a note of musk, resolutely feminine. It can be strong on some folks, my co worker tried my bottle and found it filled her entire office, but for me it stayed a skin scent.

It smells a bit less sweet than most fruity florals I've tried of late, but I'm not really detecting anything identifiable. This essence takes us for a walk on a warm spring day, in which the sun and fresh flowers take centre stage, pure and luminous aromas that perfectly reflect this perfume. It makes me want to take a leisurely walk through a garden and a refreshing dip in the pool at the same time. Look, singing "I'm a Barbie Girl" immediately followed by "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" while smelling like a waterfall made of roses, and sweetpeas warmed by sunshine, and the oddly melancholy pear juice makes mowing the lawn so much easier, and I will not pretend otherwise.The musk and ambrette, along with the ylang-ylang, impart a tiny hint of powder, just a dusting, and combine to almost give the illusion of heliotrope. And that is: the fragrance itself is absolutely adorable, very summery and playful and delicate cocktail of flowers and fruity undertones. It's a seemingly inconspicuous combination of rose, pears and musk, but it works and makes it more interesting than your usual flowery summer scent.

The whole show ends after about four hours, nice if you like changing out your scent halfway through the day.Longevity is average for me, probably 3-4 hours, but the bottle itself is gorgeous, the light pink liquid suits the gold cap perfectly. YES this is a silly, girly, pink juicy bubbles sort of thing, and the longevity is maybe an hour, two if you are lucky. I prefer fruity-summer limited Escada's releases than the other ones (although I don't wear any Escada).
