Description

It also supports the Logitech unifying receiver, so you can use that if you do not have access to Bluetooth. The software is very flexible, so you can make the scroll wheel pushes (or any of the buttons) perform specific functions like pulling up the calculator, raising the volume, or even executing a macro like Control-V to paste. There are no battery door and/or dongle storage slot, so the build seems to be more solid than the original M905. The important bit though is how good is this mouse on surfaces that would normally stump an optical mouse. Trackpads on notebooks have come along way, but for power users who are constantly traveling, there's no replacement for a trusty mouse.

This is good for, say, flying through a long document or zooming back to the top of your Twitter feed, and it feels oddly satisfying. Like the MX Master, this mouse can connect to your Windows or Mac computer with the included Pico Unifying Receiver (a small USB dongle that will also work with Logitech keyboards) or via Bluetooth Smart technology. You can continue using the mouse while charging with a Micro-USB cable, and just 1 minute of charging gives you 2 hours of usage. I’ve always valued Logitech as a company, and found that their mice and keyboards have been of the most consistent in quality. The small unifying receiver is great, but on a device like a Surface Pro 3, which has just a single USB port, occupying that port with a mouse seems a bit wasteful.

The only thing that you’ll find on the modestly packaged Anywhere MX 2 is the mouse, a microUSB cable, and the pico receiver. The new mouse can now be paired with up to three devices, and by Bluetooth or an included Logitech unified receiver. Additionally, it has a unifying receiver, which connects other devices such as a keyboard, empowering multi-device workflow. While it means that I no longer have to carry around spare AAs on my backpack, when the time is due, the built in battery capacity will degrade over time, and will eventually stop storing charges.Tracks virtually anywhereDarkfield™ laser tracking gives you flawless control on virtually any surface, including glass and high-gloss surfaces.
